Three Villages along the Dordogne River Valley

Montford is a family owned castle not open to the public was built in 1214.

It is a scenic small village.

Every village has a Patisserie which makes and
sells "pain" called baguettes and other sweet  breads.

La Roque-Gageac is the place to take  boat & hot air balloon rides.  It is called The Rock because of the rock between the river and cliffs. High above the town were 12 century cave dwellers who built a settlement during the Norman & Viking River raids.

Scenic canoe trips are very popular on Dordogne River.
Companies have stacks of plastic canoes for the tourists to rent.

This group were together and had great fun splashing each other with paddles.

Domme is a busy small cliff top village which has stunning views.
