Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, Tennessee

 

 Eastern Tennessee is home to Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg
and Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

 

 

 

The Old Mill Square in downtown Pigeon Forge was built in 1830.

It has been in operation every since grinding corn, wheat, rye

and buckwheat.



 

Backroom operation does not show a grinding wheel today.

Next door is the Old Forge Distillery. Freshly ground grains

from the mill are crafted into hand forged spirits.......





Ten million tourists visit Pigeon Forge area each year.
